SILK VILLAGE

All Zara Look

What was once a trading sea port is now known as The Ancient Town of Hoi An. We arrived to this city having no expectations and were completely blown away by the well-preserved colorful architecture taking you back to the 19th Century. The true appeal of this place comes from the evident Chinese and Japanese influences that were later blended with a European touch. This creates a bizarre yet harmonious fusion of such distinct cultures, resulting in authenticity and enchantment.
Its hard not to fall under Hoi An's spell. Even though it is a popular touristic destination, it is a place so unique in identity that it becomes a must-see for anyone visiting SouthEast Asia.
Whether it be the relaxed feeling, the quaint alleys and cute corners, or the silk fabrics; this is a place that will have you wanting to come back for more!

Greetings from Hoi An,

xx Cynthia

We finally arrived to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam! What an adventure it has been. This calls for an outfit post that embraces "pajama dressing"since its the only way to stay comfortable and breezy in places where the weather is too hot. It is our first time in Vietnam and so far exploring Saigon has been incredibly fun and daring- full of great surprises! From learning how to cross the streets by dodging all the numerous motorbikes, to trying new Southeast Asian flavors, and almost taking a bus to Cambodia by accident because we are completely lost in translation- These experiences have made our days so unforgettable. There is so much beauty in exploring a new country because everyday is a new chapter of opportunities in discovering the unknown. We cannot begin to tell you how happy we are to be back in Asia! We have been quickly remembering our days in Thailand and realizing the many things that we had missed: like the flavors, the boisterous markets, the friendly smiles, and even the heavy rainfall. Its funny how it can all come back to you. Can't wait to share some more of our Vietnamese adventures!

So much love for Saigon xx
Amanda
