INTERLACE

Cynthia wore...
Dress: Stone Cold Fox
Sunglasses: Quay
I have been obsessing over everything off the shoulders,  my beach style has become all about baring the shoulders. I have been looking for the perfect little black dress that can be used during the day as well as night and finally found this one from Stone Cold Fox. The beautiful bohemian lace details give it a more tropical look and it is really comfortable to wear. I have been feeling a little under the weather with a cold, so dressing up and going out for lunch to San Pancho really helped me get back on my feet.  After lunch, I headed back home and wore this same dress with a pair of heels to dinner it was the perfect end to a great day !

FLAMENCO

Amanda wore...
Crop-top- Coe+Due designs
Fringe skirt- Reformation
Sunglasses- Zara
Sandals- Zara

It is now mid-january, and how time keeps flying- but since the start of the new year 2015, we have been very excited to work on new and diverse projects that have only unveiled a glimpse of the amazing things lying ahead. I never have any resolutions to start the year, but this time I did find a focus on certain areas that I wanted to improve in my life. Having that in mind, then came a lot of new ideas and creativity that I hope we have been channeling on our most recent posts.
This specific post was inspired by our most regular visits to a Spanish restaurant in our hometown, where they have an occasional live show of Spanish guitar and flamenco dancing. Many of you don't know about our little obsession with the Spanish guitar- to say the least we now obsess over the flamenco dancer's outfits as well! There is so much emotion that undertakes in these performances and they are delivered with such passion, that its almost impossible not to lose your breath at some point. Between the melody of the guitar, the intense dancing, the singing, and the handclaps, one can get lost in sentiment! But the outfits- which are often overlooked, are an essential part of the performance that do not only initially captivate you, but also fiercely retain your attention.

Wishing everyone a great start of the year!

xx Amanda

CANDY EN MI PIEL

BEAUTY

2014 was all about the body scrubs. There was a major trend on exfoliating regularly in order to achieve the perfect skin. We never really got to try any of these until now, but having realized the importance of not only protecting your skin but giving it maintenance, we made it our task to try one product and see what the fuss was all about. With so many options out there and new products coming out every month, it starts to get really hard to choose which one might be the best for you. That's why we have decided to share our experience.

We believe that choosing a skin care product is extremely personal. There are a few things that you should always keep in mind when trying a new one: What type of skin you have, what climate you live in, and how it may affect your skin, and how sensitive your skin is or how prone it is to acne, etc...We always keep in mind that our lifestyle implies spending a lot of time at the beach. This always means taking extra measures to protect it. We realized that its important to keep your skin hydrated and free of dead skin-cells, and by applying coffee body scrubs at least once a week we wanted to see if there were any evident results.

We gently applied Candy en mi piel on our body using our fingertips. You want to very carefully start massaging the area for a short while before rinsing. This specific product is perfect for fighting cellulite, reducing stretch marks and acne, aside from leaving your skin silky-smooth and smelling wonderful (we love coffee!).

After the first use, we did notice our skin to be much smoother and so luminous! Coffee based body scrubs stimulate blood flow by increasing circulation, and help remove dead skin and any imperfections caused by sand, sea, and sun. This was only the beginning because you only start getting greater results after making exfoliation a habit- be very careful not to over do it, we recommend it once a week to avoid irritation or dryness. After this experience we highly encourage all of you to jump on board and let 2015 be all about skin care!

Hope you all have a great week!

Happy exfoliating!
