THE LAST BLOSSOM

Cynthia wore...[Outift head to toe: Topshop, Sunglasses: Zara, Leather Backpack: Handmade from Mexico]

Oh wow! Malaysian weather is the best, we came here expecting some unbearable intense heat and they surprised us with the loveliest days: sunny yet breezy! We are loving Kuala Lumpur so much, we have been indulging on spicy food, admiring the bright and beautiful flowers, and getting a taste of all the cultural diversity. Sometimes when you travel to tropical destinations it's hard to pick an outfit that keeps you cool and sweat-free, so... how to manage to still look cute? Here's my take! And something in the Malaysian air has transformed me! I've traded my heels for cute flats and my black silhouettes for the summery brights! I fell in love with this bright orange skirt from Topshop and paired it with a simple basic white top, this keeps you cool under the sun and still looking girly and cute. Take a pair of sunnies and rock your beach hair! As a traveler and always being on-the-go, you always need a backpack for your essentials!  Fortunately I had the perfect one! This leather backpack that A got back in Mexico has been super convenient. It served its purpose + also completed my outfit.
These are my summer essentials: bright colors, cute slippers, and leather backpacks, enjoy your last days of summer guys!

BEAT THE HEAT IN KUALA LUMPUR

Amanda wore...[Shirt: Mango, Top: Vintage, Shorts: Topshop, Silk Scarf: from Laos market, Slippers: Zara, Sunnies: Karen Walker]

Our first week in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! Its so good to be back in S.E Asia, it feels like home. We had a good run in Australia, but we had not realized how much we missed the Asian air and summery days. First stop was at the market to get a taste of some Nasi Goreng and some well deserved red bean popsicles! yummmm! our favorites. Taking advantage of this weather to shoot some casual looks for the last weeks of August heat. We have been super excited and have been exploring the city non-stop, there is so much to see in KL , we have not stopped being blown away from all its beauty and attractions. From incredible temples, to amazing food, and great shopping malls! we must admit we have literally been to KLCC every single day... (guilty!) Also one of the perks of Malaysian cafés is that they all offer free Wifi! so nice for a change, (Sydney gave us a hard time) There is more coming soon from this wonderful city! stay tuned on www.coedue.com for the full visual diary.

Much love from Malaysia,

STREET-ART

Cynthia wore...[ Hat: Topshop, Shirt: Topshop, Jeans: Urban Outfitters, Jacket: Zara, Boots: Senso]

Wow our time in Sydney went by so fast! As Amanda said before we discovered this little gem on our last days in Sydney and we just had to feature it on a post, it is truly amazing how much colorful street art you can find in Sydney! we were blown away by this lane. I wore an all black outfit, I think it is just the easiest way to stay sharp and classic, but I gave it a trendy twist with the hat to keep it interesting. This outfit can very well go from day to night and given the lovely weather I was able to rock the tied jacket around my waist! (One of my most beloved trends in the 90s!) Now on to the new acquisitions! My new booties. We went around shops looking for Aussie designer brands and I found these Senso "Lori" boots which have now become my everyday shoes, super comfortable and with just the right amount of heel. Can wear these from day to night and they really can amp up a simple outfit like this one. In love with Senso. Aussie brands know their stuff guys!

MAY LANE

Amanda wore...[ Blazer: Zara, Top: LF, High waisted shorts: Mango, Denim Shirt: Zara, Shoes: Zara, Shades: Karen Walker]

What a discovery we made on our very last day in Sydney! May Lane Art Project at St. Peters. We had seen pictures of this insane street art bonanza, but we had no idea it was that much more mind-blowing in reality, everyone who happens to be in Sydney and hasn't visited this gem, HURRY now fellows! its worth the sight. Fortunately the weather was on our side too, it was a very sunny and warm winter's day which is code for loose the layers and bare the legs. I think this look is perfect for the summer--> fall transition (Thank you mother nature for your extreme kindness)

As much fun as this little field trip to May Lane was, the mixed feelings were still there on the thought of having to leave Australia the next day. We are very grateful for the extremely mild winter and the amazing landscapes that we got to see. A special mention to the lovely Golden Hour Girl who took us around her hometown and showed us the best sceneries ever!  Sydney has too much to offer from art, music, restaurants, landscapes, beautiful beaches to unreal skies! There really is a lot of talent and beauty in this place. Already thinking of all the silly ventures- having Vegemite for the first time I certainly one I won't ever forget-
Until we meet again Aussie!

WINTER AT THE BAY

Cynthia wore...[Oversized coat: Unique, Shirt: Topshop, Skirt: Vintage from Thai market, Necklace: Vintage from NY, Tights and Shoes: Topshop, Sunglasses and bag: Zara]

This week we finally moved into a new neighborhood: Rushcutters Bay! Exciting day! and it called for a shoot to show you the place we will call home for the next few weeks. It was a real effort to move all our bags in order to get here, but so worth it now that we have a stable place; and we must confess that to enjoy a walk  in the bay felt really nice after all the sweat. We went out exploring the entire area and discovered many cute cafés, a park perfect for our morning runs, evening strolls and maybe the occasional picnic! We quickly fell in love with this suburb. And even though Sydney has been giving us unbelievably amazing weather, this day was the exception. It came to be a bit chilly later in the day, so it was time to pull out the big guns and bring out the big coats! I decided to wear this amazing  oversized coat I got at the Unique boutique in Topshop to bundle up nicely and it made my all black look a little more interesting. I really love oversized coats for the winter, They are not only super comfy but also very fun to wear. In case you haven't got one already, be bold and give it a try! We guarantee you will stay warm and cozy in the harshest winters day! :)
